Portland, Oregon’s historic Viewpoint Inn went up in flames Sunday afternoon.
The hotel was built in 1924, and has hosted such guests as Franklin Roosevelt and Charlie Chaplin.
It was also featured in the first "Twilight" film.
The owners are devastated.
Investigators say sparks from the chimney started the blaze.
The owners, who had filed for bankruptcy last month, say they won't be able to repair it on their own.
A peacock appeared in a Chicago neighborhood Sunday, shocking residents.
The Animal Control officer who rounded up the bird said she'd never seen anything like it.
Nobody knows where it came from. If it's not claimed, the peacock will be moved to an animal sanctuary.
