Washington farmer Loren Lentz wanted to make a big impression when he popped the question to his girlfriend, Jody. So he plowed his proposal into a 200-acre field. But he made one mistake."I get doing the "J" and 10-year old daughter is riding with me in the tractor and she says dad, you did the J" backwards." He still went forward with his plan, surprising Jody on a plane ride. The second time they flew over, she spotted the typo. "It's not L-o-d-y, it's not Lody!" She decided to marry me anyway even though the J was backwards.
A Stockton, California restaurant is apologizing over this receipt.
"I got the bill, and I was like, why does the receipt say, "fat girls?"
Christina Duran and her two friends were shocked, and certainly didn't find it funny. In a facebook post, the restaurant says it's "appalled" and "embarrassed" over the incident. It says the employee responsible was immediately fired. The owner even offered to meet with the women to apologize in person.
All five-year-old Brielle Olk wanted for Christmas was her dad to come home from Afghanistan, and Santa delivered. "Who's that? Daddy?"
Brielle's mom orchestrated the surprise. Army Captain Steve Olk had been gone since February on his second tour of duty. It's just absolutely great to be home.
