TROOPERS: Medical Condition May Have Caused Fatal Accident

The Highway Patrol believes a medical condition may have caused a fatal accident this morning outside of Richlands.

Trooper Bryan Cole says 60-year-old Ronnie Williams was killed in the crash on Gum Branch Road around 10:10 a.m. The wreck happened about a half mile east of Richlands.

Trooper Cole says the Beulaville man complained of back and arm pain at work and was on his way home when the single vehicle crash happened.

Williams' vehicle veered left, fishtailed into a field and then rolled over. The man died at the scene.
