TROOPERS: Duplin Co. Man's SUV Going In Excess Of 100 MPH

Troopers say alcohol was a factor in a crash that killed a Duplin County man.

Jimmy Dean Williamson, 50, of the Mount Olive area, was killed in the single vehicle accident Thursday night around 9:30 p.m.

Troopers say Williamson's Land Rover was going more than 100 miles per hour on Tear Shirt Road when his vehicle lost control in a curve, and rolled several times. The man was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from his SUV.

No one else was in the vehicle.
