Crash Blocked Part Of Interstate 40 East In Pender County

The eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 near Burgaw in Pender County were closed earlier Tuesdsay because of a car crash.

An alert from the NC DOT says a crash at mile marker 392 caused the road to be closed in the eastbound lanes. The crash was reported at 6:22 a.m. The road opened just after 7 a.m.
