Six Pitt County high schools will hold ceremonies Friday and Saturday at Minges Coliseum at ECU. ECU police are warning drivers about potential traffic congestion.
Appearing on WITN News at Sunrise Friday, ECU Police Lt. Chris Sutton says drivers should avoid driving near the ECU Athletic Complex beginning late Friday afternoon. The first graduation ceremony begins at 5 p.m., followed by another at 8 p.m.
There will be four more ceremonies at Minges Coliseum on Saturday.
Lt. Sutton encourages people who normally travel near the athletic complex to take an alternate route. He also encourages graduates and their families to celebrate responsibly this weekend.

South Central 9 a.m.
Farmville Central 12:30 p.m.
Ayden-Grifton 4:00 p.m.
