Part of a busy road in Pitt County was shut down after two trucks and a trailer got tangled up in a wreck.
The crash happened just before 9:30 a.m. on Fire Tower Road and Lee Street, just outside the Greenville city limits.
Troopers say the pickup truck ran into the back of a landscaping truck's trailer, with it ending up actually on the trailer. The pickup truck driver was not injured, but one man in the landscaping truck was taken to Vidant Medical Center.
An Eastern Pines fire truck was used to pull the pickup truck off of the landscape trailer.
The Highway Patrol says charges are pending in the crash.
