TASK FORCE: Convenience Store Owner Arrested For Selling Drugs At Work

A convenience store owner is arrested, after authorities say he sold drugs from the store during normal business hours.

On Friday, the Coastal Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at the Three Way Convenience Store on Biddle Street in New Bern.

After finding marijuana and drug paraphernalia, detectives arrested store owner Abdulhameed Ahmed and store clerk Antwan Smith.

Both men are facing multiple drug charges.
