Suspects Plead Guilty In Vanceboro Home Invasion

Three men have been convicted and sentenced in an armed home invasion where officials say electronics and a child's cancer medication were stolen.

James Ireland, Andrew Potter and John Nigh pled guilty to an April 2012 home invasion where police say a Vanceboro husband and wife were held at gunpoint as one of the men stole a computer, television, cell phones and a child's cancer medication.

Ireland, who is a habitual felon, was sentenced to serve 18-23 years in prison.

Potter and Nigh each received 14-18 years.

The three also have to pay restitution to the victims.
