A man is locked up on a hefty bond following a two year long drug investigation.
Sennica McKnight & Adriane Farris
Lenoir County deputies arrested 36-year-old Sennica McKnight of Old Mission Lane in Kinston on July 12th. McKnight is facing 17 felony charges including 4 counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver schedule II controlled substance, and four counts of sell schedule II controlled substance.
Investigators say since August 8th, 2011 detectives have been conducting controlled purchases of crack cocaine from McKnight. Since the start of the investigation, officials say that narcotics were purchases directly from McKnight on 4 different dates, with the most recent on July 12th.
Officials say a vehicle stop following the controlled purchase led to the arrest.
Also arrested during the stop was 22-year-old Adriane Farris. Farris has been charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for controlled substances and conspiring to sell or deliver schedule II CS (one count).
McKnight is being held on a $900,000 secured bond. Farris is being held on a $100,000 secured bond.
