Jail officials say that a suspect brought in by Vidant Medical Center Police is facing charges in two different counties.
Officials say that 26-year-old Karla Baugus is facing felony possession of schedule IV, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia charges by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office. She’s also facing charges with the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office for reckless driving to endanger, driving while license revoked, dwlr after impaired rev notice, and fict/alt title reg card/tag.
We’re told that Vidant Police brought Baugus in on Friday.
Baugus is being held on a $10,000 secured bond.
