A strong cold front pushed through eastern Carolina on Friday bringing a few clouds and only isolated showers. Drier and much cooler air will follow the front Friday night into the weekend. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 50s to lower 60s then rebound into the middle to upper 70s on Saturday afternoon. A light north wind will continue to feed cool and dry air into the area Saturday night as overnight lows dip into the lower to middle 50s. Sunny skies with highs near 80° can be expected on Sunday.
