A strong cold front pushed off the North Carolina coast Wednesday evening ushering in drier and cooler air. Skies will become clear overnight as lows dip into the lower to middle 30s. Skies will be sunny on Thursday as highs struggle into the lower 50s. Slightly milder air will arrive on Friday ahead of a cold front that will bring much colder air for the weekend. There is little threat of rain through the upcoming weekend.
