The hottest weather so far this year is on the way to eastern Carolina. Southwest to west winds will warm afternoon temperatures into the lower 90s inland and lower to middle 80s on the beaches through Friday. Skies will be sunny during the day with relative humidity values around 30%.

Generally dry conditions will continue into the weekend with only a stray shower or storm possible. Temperatures will not be quite as hot this weekend, but highs will still be in the middle 80s with higher humidity levels.
