Showers will continue to pop up across the east through Tuesday as a cold front approaches from the northwest.

Mostly cloudy skies will bring patchy, light rain Monday afternoon with highs topping out in the low 80s. Scattered showers will likely be accompanied by a few thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon as a cold front approaches from the west increasing the rain coverage and intensity a bit.

Behind the front, much nicer conditons will build in Wednesday through the weekend. Skies will be mostly sunny with lower humidity levels. Highs will reach the mid 80s with lows in the mid 60s.
