Study: Aggressive Behavior In Kids Who Drink Soda

Young children who drink soda may act aggressively towards their peers.

A new study in the Journal of Pediatrics analyzed survey responses filled out by the mothers of 3,000 five-year-olds. They found nearly half of the children had at least one soft drink each day -- four percent had four drinks or more.

They found a child's aggressive behavior score increased with each increase in soft drink servings. The kids who had four or more drinks were two times more likely to destroy other kids' toys, get into fights and physically attack people.
