Streetscape Project To Improve Pedestrian Walkways, Traffic Patterns

Monday marks the start of a 15-month construction project to help improve and revitalize the downtown area of one Eastern Carolina city.

Phase two of the Center Street Streetscape Project starts August 18 in Goldsboro. There will be changes to pedestrian walkways and traffic patterns during the construction, but affected intersections will mostly remain open.

If you want to keep track of the progress, the city will post bi-weekly video updates on their website.

This phase of the Streetscape Project is expected to be finished in November 2015.
