You may be able to finish your Thanksgiving dinner and then head to department stores for some early bird shopping. But some say opening early is just too much!
Several retails stores like K-Mart, Sears, Walmart, Toys-R-Us and Target plan to open Thanksgiving day, a day before the "Black Friday" shopping frenzy.
Some Target employees are not too pleased about it and have started an online petition asking Target to take the high road and save Thanksgiving.
Shoppers we spoke to say on one hand--Thanksgiving is about spending time with family, and on the other, they understand merchants hope to get you into their stores earlier looking for Christmas deals.
So far, more than 211,000 have signed the online petition.
