An investigation is underway at one community college in the east after an employee is stabbed.
Susan Nobles with Pitt Community College says that the stabbing happened around noon Saturday inside of the Whichard Building.
She says that a technical assistant that works with the fine arts department confronted 2 people in the downstairs area of the building when the stabbing happened.
Campus police say that the man suffered a small puncture wound, was treated and released from Vidant Medical Center
Nobles says the building was available for students in the art department to finish up senior project work and that no one else should have been there.
There is no description of the two men and the college says there are no cameras inside the building, nor any outside that captured to two.
