Soggy Cotton Fields Delaying Harvest

Seven days of rain across Eastern Carolina isn't sitting too well with farmers who are trying to get back in their fields.

One cotton farmer in Craven County says he's waiting to spray his fields so the plants will open up for harvest. Once they are sprayed it takes ten days for that to happen.

Some areas have received two months worth of rain in the past week, this after an especially dry September.

Farmers say the rain has left them at least a week behind with their crops.
