Small Group Marches For Equality On Immigrant Issues

About ten people took to the streets Monday in Greenville to march for the fair treatment of illegal immigrants to attain citizenship, oppose unnecessary driver license requirements, and oppose the use of money to fund unnecessary wars.

The walkers started their pilgrimage at the intersection of Red Banks Road and Arlington Boulevard to Charles Boulevard at Congressman Walter Jones' office.

For the past 27 years, organizers across the state walk with people of different backgrounds in solidarity with migrants, farm workers and undocumented people for their right for equality.

The headed to Congressman Jones' office to deliver petitions to call for change.
