Dupiln, Greene, Lenoir, Martin and Pitt counties will be under a freezing rain advisory from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday. Beaufort, Craven, Jones and Washington counties will be under the advisory from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Above normal temps will stick around through the end of the week with highs peaking in the lower 70s by Thursday and Friday. Showers and thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon as a cold front crosses the region.
