A cold front will approach eastern Carolina on Friday bringing yet another round of scattered showers and storms by mid to late afternoon. The showers and storms will continue into Friday evening before tapering off after midnight. Temperatures will reach the upper 80s inland and lower 80s along the beaches.
The weekend will be seasonably warm with a bit less humidity. Temperatures will be in the middle to upper 80s during the afternoons and upper 60s at night.
The beaches will be partly cloudy with a 20% risk for showers Saturday with dry conditions on Sunday. Afternoon highs will be in the lower 80s. Winds will be from the north at 10 to 15 knots Saturday then northeast at 5 to 10 mph on Sunday.
