Severe Weather Could Impact Ferry Operations

The NC DOT reports travelers using ferry routes today, December 26, could encounter suspensions due to high winds caused by a severe weather system.

Officials say strong winds expected today and into tonight may also affect water levels on sounds, rivers and inlets traveled by the ferries.

They urge you to call ahead to find out if weather has affected operations. The phone numbers are as follows:
