Cheerleading teams from seven high schools in Eastern Carolina are set to compete Saturday at Washington High School in Beaufort County.
Washington, White Oak, West Craven, Havelock, South Central, DH Conley and West Carteret, members of the 3A conference, are scheduled to take part.
The high schools will begin competing at 1:00 p.m. with the awards ceremony to follow. Well over 100 cheerleaders are expected to be involved in the competition.
Admission is $6.
