Senate Dems Divided Over Cuts To Benefit Programs

The clock is ticking as the White House, Democrats and Republicans try to work on an agreement to avoid the "fiscal cliff" that would automatically raise taxes and make cuts to domestic programs if Congress doesn't act before January.

But Senate Democrats are deeply divided over whether cuts to popular benefit programs like Medicare and Medicaid also should be part of the plan.
