Secret Santa At Washington Walmart

A family in the East is really enjoying the spirit of the Christmas season after a total stranger paid off their layaway balance at Walmart.

Betty Sue King posted on Heather King's Facebook page that her daughter, a single mom, got a call from the Walmart in Washington, that an anonymous good Samaritan paid off her layaway balance and a few others. King wrote that the store told her daughter the man wanted to "make sure the children had Santa Claus."

King says she has a three-year-old granddaughter who will benefit from this "secret Santa's" generosity.

We contacted Walmart in Washington for more details, but they asked us to call back during business hours on Friday.

There have been other reports around the country of people anonymously paying off layaway balances.
