Search For Edenton Bank Robber

Edenton Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Generations Community Credit Union on South Broad Street at gunpoint just before 5:00 p.m. Friday.

Police say the suspect was armed with a dark colored semi automatic handgun, wrote a note and demanded money from teller.

He left heading North on Broad Street with an undisclosed amount of money. The teller was not injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, medium build, dark skinned with a beard wearing a blue NY Giants hat, grey T-shirt and green shorts.
