Warm temperatures coupled with scattered storms and showers will be sticking with us for, at least, the next eight days. A high pressure system off the coast will continue to send moisture laden clouds in to Eastern Carolina over the next week. This will push temperatures to the 90° mark while raising the relative humidity across the area as well. Sea breeze storms will pop up in afternoon, generally from noon to about 6pm before dying off after 9pm.
Expect few clouds early in the day before thunderstorms begin building after about 1pm. Each day this week will feature a 30%-40% chance of rain.
