SHERIFF: Gunman Robs Store Outside Of Farmville

Deputies are looking for a gunman who held up a store in Greene County last night.

Sheriff Lemmie Smith says just after 10:00 p.m. the lone gunman walked into Lewis' Food Market on U.S. 264 Alternate, just outside of Farmville.

The man got away with an unknown amount of cash. The sheriff says two employee were inside at the time, but they were not injured.

Deputies Wednesday afternoon released surveillance pictures of the gunman, who is described as a black man who was wearing all dark clothing. The gunman covered his face with white cloth.
