The American Red Cross shelter in Beaufort County closed Monday morning as all residents have now made other living arrangements.
So far, the Red Cross says it has served 2,174 meals and snacks, distributed nearly 100 supplies, and mobilized 161 disaster workers in four of the hardest hit counties.
The Red Cross has jumped into action in the aftermath of these storms, establishing a shelter.
Beaufort County residents looking for relief from the storm can find help at the shelter established at the Snowd Branch Church of God at 3283 VOA Road in Washington.
A caller says that showers and hot meals have been set up for those in need.
