Wet Grounds, Dry Skies For Your Saturday Afternoon

The ground will be wet, but the morning showers have moved out of the area. A drying trend from west to east is expected for the remained of the morning and afternoon hours. Without much sun, the ground will be soggy and temperatures cool (low 50s). A light sprinkle or two can't be ruled out late in the day as a low pressure system continues to track out of eastern Carolina.

Rainfall amounts have been around .5", with some locations receiving more than 1.00".

There is no severe weather threat with this system. Be sure to take your time on the roads this morning as ponding is certainly possible.
