Dupiln, Greene, Lenoir, Martin and Pitt counties will be under a freezing rain advisory from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday. Beaufort, Craven, Jones and Washington counties will be under the advisory from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m.
A slow moving low pressure system will bring plenty of showers to Eastern Carolina starting Sunday. The showers will take periodic breaks between Sunday and Tuesday, but for the most part, we will be getting wet. Wind conditions will be blustery through at least Monday. There is a chance of some thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday.
