Afternoon Clouds, Rainfall Totals

Eastern Carolina will begin to dry by the early afternoon hours, but the cloud cover will stick around a little longer. Highs this afternoon will push past the 50° mark and hold in the mid 50s. Clouds will start clearing this evening leading to a chilly start on Saturday as temperatures cool to the upper 30s/low 40s.

Further drying will continue on Saturday under sunny skies and warmer temperatures. Highs will be in the 60s Saturday, 70s Sunday and 80s the middle part of the workweek.
