President Obama lays out his strategy today when he addresses the graduating class at West Point.
This morniing's speech comes one day after the president announced 9,800 U.S. troops will stay in Afghanistan after combat missions end in December; that number would gradually drop to about 1,000 over the next two years.
Their job will be training Afghan security forces and fighting Al Qaeda.
