The potential for freezing rain Friday morning had Department of Transportation crews out Thursday to pre-treat the roads.

The Pitt County D.O.T. told us they were concentrating on bridges and overpasses first, before moving on to major roads and highways.

Just about everyone in Eastern Carolina saw some snow on Saturday, and we had a pretty heavy case of freezing rain at the end of January.

ECU student Sidney Jackson says she's had enough of this winter weather, especially when it comes to driving. Jackson says, "You can crash at any moment there's too much going on. If it's not rain it's snow so, people already don't know how to drive, this is just making it worse."
