The jackpot from last night's Powerball lottery is $448 million. And lottery officials say there are three winning tickets.

The winning numbers have been drawn for the $448 million Powerball jackpot.

The numbers drawn Wednesday night were: 05, 25, 30, 58, 59 and Powerball 32.

At the time of the telecast, Powerball officials announced that the jackpot previously pegged at $425 million had grown to an estimated $448 million.

The allure of capturing such a rich jackpot has had players in a ticket-buying frenzy, further confirming Powerball players often don't get into the game until the jackpot offers big bucks.

A recent game change increased the frequency of huge jackpots, and Wednesday's third largest-ever jackpot comes only months after the biggest Powerball jackpot in history - a $590 million pot won in Florida.

There's now word yet if anyone matched all the numbers.

You can watch the Powerball drawing every Wednesday and Saturday night on WITN right before the 11 o'clock news.

No one hit the Powerball jackpot on Saturday, so the money will roll over: A cool $425 million for the next drawing Wednesday night.

People across Eastern Carolina have been out buying plenty of tickets and dreaming of what they would do if the would win.

Karen Pender told us, "Take care of my parents. Make sure they're comfortable and go on a little trip.

Stephen Reid said his plans would be to, "Put away some money for my kids to go to college, buy my mom a house."

And Cory Crain says, "Pay off any debts, invest, buy a nice boat."

While hefty, the prize for Wednesday's drawing is still well below the record $590.5 million jackpot won in May by an 84-year-old Florida woman.

The odds of matching all six numbers are 1 in 175.2 million.

The Powerball drawing airs every Wednesday and Saturday right before WITN News at 11:00 p.m.
