Police Searching For Gunman In Pitt County Robbery

Police say they have one armed robber in custody, but need the public's help in tracking down the second one.

Grifton Police Chief Bryan Cauley says on August 13th the Kangaroo convenience store on Queen Street was robbed by two men.

Kevin Jones has already been charged in the crime, but officers are still looking for the second person involved.

That man, who is slightly taller, was holding the weapon during the robbery. He pointed it first at a customer and then at a clerk.

Anyone with information on the crime is urged to call Grifton police at 252-524-4161.
