Police are turning to the public for help in locating three men who they say passed stolen checks at a bank.
Greenville police say the three were caught on surveillance video last month when they came into the bank to cash the checks.
One man left behind a fake Arizona driver's license, as well a fraudulent check. Police believe all three gave bank employees bad information to receive cash from the checks.
Police say the construction company reported some 33 checks were stolen from their business, and only three have been accounted for at this point.
The trio may have also passed fake checks in the Jacksonville area from another business.
Anyone with information on the three men should call Greenville police at (252) 329-4354 OR Crime Stoppers (252) 758-7777.
