Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a "person of interest" in a stabbing that led to the closing of a Greenville nightclub.
Greenville police say a 16-year-old boy was stabbed inside the Phoenix on East 5th Street on August 10th. Four days later the city obtained an injunction, and the nightclub's owner surrendered their state liquor license.
Three people were stabbed that night during a fight near the exit. Police say the 16-year-old was stabbed in the back, a 22-year-old was wounded in the leg, while a 20 year-old was stabbed in the chest.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case. Their number is 252-758-7777.
