Two of the three people shot in Greenville early this morning are out of the hospital.
Police spokeswoman Kristen Hunter told WITN officers were called to the Glendale complex off Hooker Road for the report of one person shot.
Hunter said officers arrived to find three people had been shot and all had made their way to Vidant Medical Center.
The victims have been identified as Lacravia Colier, Franklin Mitchell, and Lashawn Tyson.
Vidant Medical Center says Tyson is in fair condition, while the other two victims have been released.
At the scene early this morning, officers shined flashlights over a bullet fragment in the parking lot and neighbors stood outside describing the rapid, loud gunfire that woke them.
Police taped off a section of the parking lot outside apartment 30-A for at least an hour before clearing the area.
Hunter said at this point investigators believe this shooting may have been carried over from a fight which broke out earlier Tuesday night.
Police said they have developed credible leads and this shooting was not at random.
No word yet on any arrests in this case.
