Police Looking For Men Who Stole Cash From Store Safe

Police say they need your help in locating three people who distracted a clerk and stole cash from a store safe last week.

Kinston police today released surveillance pictures inside the Rightway convenience store on U.S. 70. Police say around 7:45 p.m. last Wednesday, a woman parked a pickup truck behind the Bojangles while two men went into the Rightway.

One man distracted the clerk, while the other went into the office and got cash from the safe.

Pictures show the two men in the store, while another captured the truck with a woman waiting. The dark truck has extensive commercial lettering on it, and it appears to say "K & M". The rest of the writing can't be read.

Police are asking that if anyone can recognize the two men or the truck they should call Kinston police at 252-939-3190.
