Police Identify Woman Found Dead Behind Pharmacy

Police have identified a woman who was found dead behind a Greenville pharmacy Tuesday morning.

An autopsy shows that Janet Hill died from apparent natural causes, according to police.

The 66-year-old woman's body was found behind the Rite-Aid Pharmacy on Charles Boulevard around 11:15 a.m.

Police say the woman was believed to have been homeless, while they were able to track down relatives in Norfolk.

Greenville police say they are investigating a death behind a pharmacy.

Around 11:15 this morning, police received a call from an ECU facilities service worker reporting a body that was found on 14th Street behind the Rite Aid Pharmacy.

Officials confirmed it was the body of a middle-aged woman and that there were no obvious signs of foul play.

Workers in the area tell us they have seen the victim, who they say is a homeless woman in her sixties, living in the area for sometime.
