Greenville police say two shootings at the same apartment complex in the past three days are connected.

The latest shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. at Sheraton Village townhomes.

Police spokeswoman Kristen Hunter said officers were called to 352 Haven Drive, apartment Y-3 for shots fired.

At least ten bullets went through a front window of the apartment where four people were inside. 17-year-old Deshawn Spruill of Plymouth was hit in the leg.

Spruill was taken to the hospital for his gunshot wound, but police said his injuries were not life-threatening.

Hunter said police think this was a targeted attack and they believe drugs were involved in the shooting.

Neighbors outside the Sheraton Village told WITN they heard at quick, repeated gunfire before police cars flooded the private parking area.

The other shooting happened Sunday, three buildings away from Tuesday's shooting. In that case at 328 Haven Drive, Tyshon Carter was shot with a semi-automatic rifle around 12:30 a.m., according to police. They say Carter was shot twice in the leg, and he is being uncooperative with them.

Police are also investigating two other shootings in Greenville on Sunday.

Demetrious Alston was shot around 3:50 a.m. in the area of Summer Place and Peed Drive. A friend took Alston to the hospital after he was wounded in the leg.

In the other case, an apartment at 3202 Boardwalk Lane was hit by gunfire, according to a police report. That shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. and no one was home at the time.

A police report says a wall, recliner chair and the front door was hit by gunfire.

No arrests have been made in any of the four shootings.

Greenville Police dispatchers confirmed with WITN they were called to Haven Drive early Tuesday morning for the report of shots fired. That location is off Landmark Street, near the intersection with Greenville Boulevard.

Officers have not said at this point if anyone was hurt or charged in connection to the call.

Neighbors outside the Sheraton Village townhomes, Phase V, told WITN they heard at least six to eight gunshots, one right after another. Soon after, they said, police cars flooded the area with lights and sirens.

By 1:45 a.m., officers had crime scene tape draped over cars parked in front of one building on the cul-de-sac off Haven Drive.
