Pitt County Emergency Dispatch says that a home is a total loss after a fire Sunday afternoon.
911 Communicators say that Staton House Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of a house fire on Hollowell Road around 1:57 p.m. and then again this evening for what appeared to be a flare up around 9:34.
Staton House Fire was unable to be reached for word on what may have caused the fire.
Dispatch says that there were no reported injuries.
