Pitt Pirates Robotics Team Heads To Nationals

An exciting day is up ahead for local students making the trip to a big robotics competition Tuesday.

The Pitt Pirates Robotics Team is heading to St. Louis for the Nationals Competition.

The team won the Chairman's Award, the most prestigious FIRST award at the NC Regional in Raleigh.

The award qualified the team for the International Championship competition in St. Louis, Missouri.

The robotics team is leaving from CM Eppes 6 p.m. Tuesday.
