Pitt County Pet Care Group Collects Donations For Pet Food Pantry & Humane Society

Eastern Carolina pet lovers came out to show some love today.

Appropriately dubbed the "Showing Some Love" event, generous people donated several hundred pounds of dog food, cat food, and other items to benefit the Pet Food Pantry and the Humane Society of Eastern North Carolina.

Organized by Danielle's Pet Care, over 359 pounds of dog food and 186 pounds of cat food was delivered to the pet food pantry.

The Humane Society saw over 230 pounds of cat litter along with toys, puppy pads, and many more items.

The Pet Food Pantry is a new organization that provides food through donations at no cost to pet owners who are struggling financially. Click the link below for more information.
