The weather Saturday is shaping up to be ideal for the 22nd annual St. Patrick's Day Festival in Emerald Isle.
Workers were getting ready Friday for the festival in the parking lot at Emerald Plantation Shopping Center.
The festival, which WITN is a proud sponsor, has rides, games, food, entertainment and shopping.
It's also an early boost to tourism season with some, 25,000 people expected for the Saturday event.
The nearby Islander Hotel sold out of all 80 rooms for the weekend.
The festival starts at 9:00 a.m. and continues until 5:00 p.m.
