Update: Name Released In Pedestrian Vs. Vehicle Accident

New information about the pedestrian struck by a car just before midnight Monday.

Highway Patrol Troopers say that 70-year-old Bobby Lang was walking along Pactolus Highway near Charles Buck Drive when, witness say, he decided to cross the highway. That's when Lang was struck by an oncoming car.

Troopers say, the driver, 18-year-old Alec Corey, was not speeding and no charges will be filed in the case.

Both were taken to Vidant Medical Center where Corey was released with minor injuries, however, troopers say, Lang is still in serious condition.

Witnesses say, Lang was wearing dark clothing at the time.
