'Peaches & Cream' Tased After Deputies Say He Made Bomb Threat

"Peaches and Cream" ended up being tased after deputies say the man made a false bomb threat and urinated in the store's parking lot, among other things.

Actually, the man's name is Jonathan Palmer, but Jones County deputies say he goes by the nickname "Peaches and Cream".

Deputies arrested the man last week after they say he was apparently intoxicated, and began arguing with customers at the Handy Mart in Maysville. Deputies say before leaving to urinate in the parking lot, Palmer said he had a bomb.

Witnesses gave deputies a description of the vehicle Palmer left in, and the vehicle was stopped on Highway 58 south.

Deputies say the man became combative and they had to use a Taser on him.

Palmer has been charged with felony false bomb report, along with assault on a government official, communicating threats, resisting a public officer, intoxicated and disruptive, indecent exposure, and a probation violation.

Palmer is due to appear in court on June 27th.
